It May Be Impossible to Blend In

Most of us have a place where we fit, where we blend in with other people and the surroundings and can just disappear in plain sight. Wearing just the right generic outfit, keeping our mouths shut, and mingling behind others who look just like us. This is a necessity on occasion, to take a time out from having to maintain a public visage day in and out. Most of us have a place like this where we can retreat. Most, but not all.
