On the Brink of a Win-Win Scenario

There is a myth surrounding the sanctity of human life. Every effort is made to defend the weak and prolong the time that each of us spend on this earth. The truth however is that life is not sacred. People die all the time, often because of flukey events. In living their lives, the vast majority fail each day to take a single worthwhile step. So as this man prepares to throw himself to his death, we can see that he's got certain victory cornered; he will either do something amazing and fly, or he will successfully end a long string of life failures.
