The Reign of Turkeys is Nigh

As my focus on the Tom blocking my path softened, I noticed dozens more emerging from the bushes and yards around me. Then their numbers jumped to the hundreds, then the thousands, all with a calm cruelty to their demeanor. I slowly locked my door, but I knew it was futile, as the reign of the turkeys had begun.
