Why Don't You Get a Job?

As youth progresses to adulthood, vice is a common path taken. It's interesting that these traits are what children most closely relate to as "being a grown up." So are smoking and drinking actually childish, or are they pillars of maturity? Perhaps the chores, responsibilities and commitments that also identfy an adult aren't much fun, or perhaps the best part of being an adult is having the freedom to waste your time if you wish.
