Save the Chair

Marshall Van Horten had a moment of clarity just before "Mike" began sawing through the chair. He'd hit rock bottom in his role as class nuisance. A lifetime of teachers' nagging and correcting his behavior echoed through his chubby little head. Right then and there he vowed to keep his hands to himself and all four feet on the floor.
